Today, give a try to Techtonique web app, a tool designed to help you make informed, data-driven decisions using Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization
During the past few weeks, I’ve been adapting a Python version of the (seemingly abandoned?) official Stanford GLMNet package. Don’t try to build a programming interface on it yet, as it’s still “moving”.
GLMNet implements the entire lasso or elastic-net regularization path for linear
regression, logistic
and multinomial
regression models, poisson
regression and the cox
model. My implementation is faithful to the R Fortran-based one, but:
- uses
numpy
instead ofscipy
- uses
scikit-learn
style, with a main classGLMNet
having methodsfit
andpredict
